Love over Hunger...

Many a times, I try asking myself some questions which compels me to think beyond everything. At times I really don’t understand what purpose we are serving for.
Once while going to the college my train got late. I was waiting at the railway station sitting on a bench. Suddenly my eyes struck on a poor women, with shabby clothes and she really seemed to have no purpose in life. She was also accompanied with 2 little kids. She was trying to feed them with the food which was hardly enough to feed them. I don’t know that whether it was cooked by her or was given by someone, but it was such that we could hardly imagine. For every 2 bites each to their kids she took only 1, but none of them complained to each other about the hunger which was still there. Instead, the woman gave a gentle smile to them as if nothing happened, then she turned to the empty tracks, her smile gone and she got lost thinking something.
I was completely awe struck with this event and wasn’t able to imbibe whatever I saw. I was asking again and again that can the love overcome the hunger. Is the poverty has its own language which is spoken just in eyes. What is that which leaves someone with no option but to sleep empty stomach or the others who take 15 minutes to choose from the menu what to eat and drink? What makes someone to work barefoot on the roads whereas others to hardly look outside the air conditioned environment. What is that which makes someone polish shoes for his whole life but never had a chance to wear them, or someone who makes our houses in all the conditions whole of their life but don’t have a chance to roof their own kids. I still don’t have the answer to it. This is the case with millions and millions of people everyday across the globe, but we hardly think about them. Even if a bunch of people (like me to some extent) think, we don’t do anything. We have different reasons for it. Some say what difference can our small efforts make as a whole, some say we have lot many other commitments and hence don’t have sufficient time, some lack in resources, some took it as a destiny and list goes on. We call ourselves as professionals, we learn great management lessons about how to convince people, look for the need of our customers and all. We take 20-22 years of our lives learning these, yet we hardly know how to overcome the hunger.
I think the greatest manager or professional is that woman who being uneducated knows how to overcome hunger, she not only feel but communicate Love, understand and satisfy the requirements just in eyes. She knows the way out of the worst situations which most of us hardly knows.
I feel that if people like us try to think a little bit towards these aspects we can bring a revolutionary change, we can bring the change in the lives of the millions and millions of the people. These people want our support, sympathy, love and care which will come only by our strong will power.
